THE QUIET TRAIN CAMPAIGN
Full Description:
At multiple times through the night for years in passing, the train rumbles and disrupts the sleep of the residents of Vinings--with each night getting noisier than ever as the train line is now one of the busiest train lines in the US.
This, unfortunately, is not just a nuisance but poses as a health hazard among residents.
Now, the Federal Railroad Administration has established "Quiet Zones" where trains can pass through silently. To qualify, a four-quadrant gate system must be put up to replace the existent two-quadrants.
Donations are needed to help fund the installation that would make Vinings the first "Quiet Zone" in Georgia!
